Exterritorial is a German thriller that I watched out of curiosity—and honestly, it was a decent one-time watch. It’s my first time watching a German film, and while the concept was cool, the movie had its ups and downs.

The beginning felt a bit slow and didn’t hook me right away, but once the story picked up, it got more interesting. The film mainly revolves around a mother’s search for her missing son, and as things unfold, bigger secrets start coming to light. The action was good and the storyline had potential, but the ending wasn’t as suspenseful as I expected. It felt kind of flat after all that build-up.

Overall, it’s a decent film if you’re looking for something intense and different, but not too mind-blowing. Just a good pick when you're in the mood to try something new.

Final Thoughts:

Nice action, cool plot, okay ending. Worth a single watch, but not something I’d rewatch. 3/5.

I genuinely thought the film was fantastic. It is pretty similar to flight but in a much better way. I do wish i would have seen Josh meet his family but 10/10. The main actress did extremely well in the fight scenes. More realistic than most films now and these days. Anyone that is saying something negative is just being picky. This is a foreign movie so it’s never going to be up to the par of harsh Americans. 

With that being said, please watch it and see if yourself :)

I enjoyed it. Some very good realistic fighting scenes. Although in different setting, the story line has similarities to Flight plan with Jodie foster,  

I thought the dubbing in English cleverly done, so in sync a few times I forgot it was a German film!

I would not call it an A-Rated block buster, but to contradict this I would say above a B-rate, lets say some where in between a B+ and an A- (if that makes sense?)

I often spoil films for myself, (being an avid film buff), even complicated, twisted films I can predict scenes, mysteries, the next sentence and endings more often that not,  Exterritorial had many predictable areas, saying that it did not stop me watching it, I wanted to see the end.

Its worth a watch,  I'm not sure if i would watch it again, possibly??maybe?? I think its one of those films you need to leave a good few years before you would pick it up again, hence the 3 star rating.
